About
I was born in Nashville, attended Northwestern University where it was a bit too cold for a Southern girl and then moved to NYC.
In NYC, I trained under David Sims, one of the top fashion photographers, as his main digital tech, constantly traveling to work on photo shoots in London, Paris, Spain, the Caribbean and throughout the US. I have also digi teched for Craig McDean, Paolo Roversi, Brigitte Lacombe, Peter Lindbergh and Fabien Baron and freelanced for Boxwork, part of Pascal Dangin’s Box. There was even my big screen moment (ok it was brief but still big screen) in the documentary The September Issue.
While I worked in fashion the last few years, my real passion is creating engaging portraits. Clients include Wieden+Kennedy, CARE India, The Caravan India, Tehelka, Mint, Sunday Magazine of South China Morning Post, URB, King and Edible Manhattan.
In 2010 I relocated to New Delhi from NYC.
I set up this blog to chat about my photography experiences, both shooting and working in the industry. It will also feature images that aren’t on my site (via Flickr). I hope you enjoy my photos and reading this blog.
