Reinventing Polaroid
While it’s been a slow January work-wise, I’ve had a good amount of time to work on both myself (started running again) and on personal projects. I shot two more for the goth project and an up-coming rapper and will be shooting a story next week for Resource Magazine. Gotta stay busy!
I recently learned of the Impossible Project. Started by Impossible b.v. and supported by Ilford, they’re aiming on re-starting production of analog integral film for vintage polaroid cameras in 2010. It’s supposed to be a updated, modernized version of instant film NOT a rebuild of Polaroid. They also bought Polaroid’s Netherlands plant. The goal is 12 month to do this. As I’m typing, there are 29.5 million sec remaining (yep, on the site).
